BOOK NOW
Overview
Journey from the sweeping plains of the Serengeti to the remote forests of western Tanzania on an unforgettable expedition inspired by the legacy of Jane Goodall. This intimate retreat blends iconic wildlife experiences, meaningful conservation learning, and restorative wellness practices into one deeply transformative journey. Guided by Dr. Izzy Hirji, participants will explore Tanzania through the lens of connection - to nature, to community, and to themselves. The adventure begins in Northern Tanzania with classic safari experiences in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, where participants witness some of the most extraordinary wildlife ecosystems on earth. The journey then shifts westward to the remote shores of Lake Tanganyika and Gombe Stream National Park, where chimpanzees still roam the forests first studied by Jane Goodall over six decades ago. With conservation at the forefront, in this retreat, the Gombe experience is envisioned in collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute and emphasizes ethical wildlife encounters, conservation education, and community-centered impact. Throughout the journey, guided workshops, reflective sessions, grounding practices, and immersive experiences will invite participants to slow down, reconnect, and travel with greater intention. The retreat concludes on the white sand beaches of Zanzibar, offering time to rest, integrate, and absorb the profound experiences of the previous days.
